You probably see this coming after our greatest cinematographer list last week, we just have to make a film composer list to go with that one.

Music is possibly the most under-appreciated aspect of a film and unless we really listen for it, most of us go unaware of just how much music can make or break a moment, scene or even an entire film. Sometimes the score even transcends the film itself, and becomes a culture symbol of its own.
