cost is too much for a day pass, that is a kill for metro..
On the top the current commute kooda not that good gain, with too many stops, parking, walk and other stuff that kills the purpose..
So people are not really comfortable at this time with metro.. Moreover bus availabity, share auto and others are very solid, so aa alternatives unnanta kaalam unless there is significant gain, people wont take metro path

Will get better. Don't worry. Lets just wait for few more years. Metro plan is improving the surrounding areas near each station including foot paths. More stations lines will be running just before the elections.
With so much of corruption around we can't expect miracles. That's the fact. |

I spent two weeks, around AS Rao Nagar & Jublihills areas. some roads are okay, internal roads are bad to worst. I avoided traveling within the city as much as possible.

Just returned yesterday from Hyderabad. Roads are good and getting better by the day. Now there is a big plan of white topping roads announced including the old city roads. Have patience things changing around big time along with Metro.
Also noticed that where ever metro is working righ now the traffic has improved a lot and moving better. Else I can just imagine the traffic near St Anns Secunderabad around 5 PM evening. When I visited recently it was much much smoother now.

Went for a short trip, busy with family and friends. Watched 2 movies in theater, chalo and bhagmathi.
Health care and education sectors are completely licked. It became very expensive overall, I go every year and inflation is still noticeable. People who have money are enjoying like there is no tomorrow. Real estate in Hyderabad picked up in the last 6 months, I believe some areas are gone up by 50% in this short span. People are saying two reasons, 1) it's still the cheapest metro and 2) people don't want to keep cash after demonetization.
Couple of my childhood friends came and we spent 3 days together. Met with few other friends and played 21 card game for the first time. Lost 16k first day, gained 25k second day and lost another 10k on day 3. Regardless of win/loss, had a great time.
Modi and BJP will not win single handedly in 2019. Janam banda boothulu thidathannaru Modi ni. Everyone is asking simple question - what did he achieve in 4 years? AP varaku evadu BJP tho vellina munigipodam khayam.
Hyderabad roads worst ga vunnay, not sure when they will get better. Uber and Ola are very convenient and cost effective.
Food Ekkada bayata try cheyaledu, didn't want to take chance. Did very little shopping, still spent a lakh not sure where all it went.
