Generally in creative field - u need a referral thinking in order to derive a thought or idea
A book , a movie , a news paper , word of mouth , in the modern age (internet , youtube ,etc)
A SIMPLE EXAMPLE : Tezaab is freemake of Streets of Fire , sholay is inspired by akhira kosurowa film

AR Rehman (so called oscar nominee) Rangeela is tunes are direct lift from anjelina Jolie movie soundtrack
Then what about Bloody Indian brands - Tata (talk as if only automobile brand in the world) basket pay some europeans for help and act as if truly indian dicks ! Engines were developed by Fiat (italian) , earlier colloborated by Benz who helped Tata in buses and etc way back in early 90s
