Also read that most of the nations that provide basic healthcare for free & affordable prices have nailed down on the root causes of most of the illnesses and eliminated majority of them for generations. Idi correctey na?

If that's the scenario, all other nations should follow the suite or at least try out various possibilities that have already been working well.

Waiting in the emergencies for your turn to get attended to/treated for is quite a dreadful experience.

Most of the countries that provide basic free healthcare also have add-on insurances that gives them special access to super specialty hospitals ani chadiva. Is it not true?

Nothing shall come free in this world. When it is free - it gets abused even in the best of the systems.

Waiting in the emergencies for your turn to get attended to/treated for is quite a dreadful experience. Instead the service shall come with an affordable fee that makes everyone responsible and not misuse the system.

I went through a dreadful experience this summer. I wish no parent/person shall go through it.

In my humble opinion, countries that provide “Free/Highly affordable” & Hygienic healthcare (through tax-paid money) with all the facilities can be considered as “developed nations”. Going by the noble definition of “Any system that gets all the basics right can be considered as well balanced”.

Even otherwise, “Universal healthcare” would help to great extent as well.

Most of the Euro nations and Canada provide really good healthcare for almost free of cost to the people. Unfortunately, “United states of America” doesn’t figure in this list of nations that provide good healthcare. Obama tried to do something like “universal healthcare”, but seems like he couldn’t succeed for some obvious reasons :-).

Vellunnappudu Mee opinions pettandi.

My reasons are below:

> Healthcare is basic human right, and overall health of the nation depends on the health of the people.

> High privatization of healthcare can lead to medical mafia & has adverse effects on the nation overall

> Government Access to public health records (advantage of Universal healthcare), provides the ability to observe patterns and investigate the root causes ( Like Khaleja movie ) that in turn can possibly nullify the medical crime. High privatization of healthcare would hinder the investigation as the private companies may not be able to co-operate with the government investigation by sharing the data.

> In such systems, Overall Health of people is more or less directly tied to election process of the local and top most nodes and they would be careful in their duties ( Good governance ) to retain power at least ( if not for clean record )
