Spirituality anedi self discipline toh start avtundi anedi saaramsam. and SD starts with physical exercise,then mental exercise .. hence i said if you are healthy, that should be the take away..
didnt know you were so senior  good for you.. only means meditation worked for you !!  |

I first learned with Swamy Ananthanada.He used to come from Thjiruvannamalai to Chennai to teach us.About 20 young people in 1992 and it is about a year course.I still practice yogasanas, pranayama etc.But, mediation is just BUSSU(atlest for me).
I am a certified REike master at that time(another hyped and bogus kriya).With no luck with Ananthanada's techniques, i did my course with Kriya yooga(self relaization fellowship).I can confidently say I followed whatever they asked em to follow.But, it is a time waste process.. |

Absolutely wrong with the basic point itself.Just Budha was born in Hindu family.Other than that, there nothing budhism to do with Hinduism.Budha completely denied god and God is the basis for Hinduism. |

Budhism branched out of Hinduism.. so definitely you will see hints of vedic references albeit in a slightly modified fashion. Hinduism toh vachina chikku entante.. as Kalikaalam/rao garu says, it gets a bit tough for a common man to relate the deep meaning,and the spirituality behind it. So max janalu 2 agarbatti pettama, 1 coconut kottama ..deggara agipotaru. But when religion is fed simplistically, like in Budhism it becomes a slow hit. I practiced many forms/techniques of meditation.My experience says the concept of mediation is just fake/fraud/bogus..whatever word you use. Based on my experience, it si not possible to observe thoughts/still thoughts/transcendent etc..Just empty words without any substance. |

exactly, its experience, religion is only way to guide one to get that experience defining some ways to it.. anduke inni religions, but all have same goal..

Sanatana dharma vallu follow ayye vallu have listed Budha as one of the dasavatar, if what he preached or taught as per realization is against the Sanatana dharma, how can he be a Avatar of the belief system??
World lo 5th biggest religion with almost 50-60crores following, so obviously he is connected to many and will connect to many more..

Ayana cheppindi chala matuku sanatana dharma to conflicting untayi..
Like in Budhism there is no GOD, but Sanatana dharma says GOD is everything..
Budha says desires are root cause for problems, but sanatana dharma says desires not as per dharma is root cause of problems. ilaa cheptaa potaa unte chala unnayi
