Kamal Haasan, a couple of days ago, had released a teasing poster of his next film asking the readers to guess. We had rightly guessed the same connecting the dots perfectly bringing the link to the project with one of his earlier characters Balram Naidu of Dasavatharam.

Today, 29th April, Kamal revealed the title of his next as Sabash Naidu in the Nadigar Sangam complex in Chennai. He also introduced the cast and crew. Shruti Haasan plays his daughter in the film. Other cast members are Ramya Krishnan, Brammanandam, and Saurab Shukla to start with.

The team has planned to fly to the United States by May 14th to compete a major schedule as per the script's demand.

This is a trilingual being made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi directed by Rajeev Kumar. Dance Master Raghuram played Balram Naidu’s assistant in Dasavatharam. Perhaps Brammanandam will do the honors in Tamil and Telugu versions of Sabash Naidu with Saurab Shukla doing the same in Hindi.

Ilayaraja scores music for Sabash Naidu. The film, appears to be a humorous investigative flick, perhaps on the lines of Pink Panther or our very own Thuppariyum Sambu.
