Shikari:10 days no phones,no talking..pure calmness...meditating 8/10hrs a day.
but after that life is pretty same,
Nenu cheppindi ade, its extremely important to understand why Meditation, what for.

Mind cannot be controlled, simple as that.
Meditation anedi mind ki anakatta kattatam matrame chestundi,, so that you can make it think to some time what you direct to, but you realize that even during that time, it deviates and goes everywhere in world, one fraction of second gap is enough to mind to get deviated. Thats its basic nature, no thought means no mind.
But There is something called vedantic meditation, where you dont need to sit and close your eyes, Basically what you keep training mind is to think you are not the body, mind, soul,, then one day you realize and get enlightened.
Also on the same lines Buddists have there is something called awareness meditation, which you observe life as a witness, and constantly think you are witnessing and aware of whats happening,, This is ultimately get you realized.
