If they give a max to Lebron don't think they will have the cap space to sign JJ unless he takes a discount. He is on a 1 yr 23 million contract now.
Embiid's max contract kicks in from next year as well...he will make an all NBA team which will trigger his absolute max provision. |

The last 2 time MVP outside of top-3 or even outside of top-1 was Curry from 2009 draft....before that it was Steve Nash from 1996 draft.
Except for these two, 2+ MVPs in the last 35 years were all No 1 picks...Lebron, Tim Dunca, Shaq. 1980s lokie elthe Jordan at No3 pick. |

I think 10+Fultz should get Kwahi unless Celtics decide to beat that offer.
Ben Simmons will be horrible next to Lebron because of his shooting problems...ideally they should trade him unless they think he will be a top-5 player in the NBA.
