Saibaba did good job to limit this movie to anamayya and couple of western songs.

As I said before the story line is really great(we have seen such real incidents) and one singer should have been very apt for this movie as per subject. However we dont have options.
I was waiting on to listen again and again so that I dont have any prejudice in mind. I heard 3 times already, will be completing today. MM Keeravani/Raghavendra rao do have good rapport, so the music comes out as per requirements and they are good in that term.
Karthik did good, thats why he is leading male singer these days. He had issues but thats are very minor. Somehow I missed the something in SPB in this album, which is very strange..

I agree. singers are far inferior. All songs should have sung by a single singer. But we don't have quality singers now a days. Karthik is ok and his pronunciation is really good in this movie. |

idi cinema music Rao garu. please see this in that perspective. It will never be authentic. Even Annamayya also same. But most of the Annamayya songs are already known and MMK used the familiar tunes. But Intinta Annamayya is different. Movie story ki anugunam ga songs vadaru. kind of fusion music. we can't compare this to classical Annamacharya keertana singers. Even Tyagaraja adaptations in the movies are also far inferior to Yesudas (or any other) classical songs (Stage performanances). |

adi story line kosam pettina songs, story lo hero is a singer ( western ) gets influenced by Annamayya and how he transforms annadi, so 2-3 rock songs unnayi..

yes, 14 songs unnayi, I found some PDF's not sure when I downloaded they say that there are total 14911 sankeertana's available as of today. Out of 32000 odd he actually wrote. These PDF's have the sankeertana's scanned from raagi patralu..
Then he wrote 12 satakams which only one is available.
His son and grandsons did a commendable job in preserving his works. There are numerous people who dedicated their life towards Annamayya no wonder why..
Kudos to SaiBaba again for touching yet another great person. Somehow I lost into going thru Annamayya's works and music.

Bradesh/AMesh, the songs didn't impress me much, but went into loops and got lost re-visting about Anammayya, and didnt finish though I started.
I had many close encounters with various artists who introduced me to Annamacharya's literature and music. Somehow I feel the soul of Annamacharya's tatvam is missing in this album. May be the music is totally different to what is stuck in my mind. I will have to listen few more times before writing review so that I write with any presets in mind.
Music is changing with times, Keeravani is stereo typed giving such music, unfortunately we dont have any better choice than him, On the other hand MMK is seriously lacking good singers. This time he brought in Karthik who is only notable singer in current lot, but he is just a technically perfect singer, lacks few things. Anyways will write more tomorrow.
