• A 4,000 days plus journey over eleven years of historical development, powered by efficient and
transparent administration.
• Gujarat’s administration admired nationally as well as internationally - more than 250 awards, at an
average rate of one award every fortnight
• Fast yet balanced economic growth – 10 years of over 10% growth in all the three sectors – Industry,
Agriculture and Services.
• All Inclusive, All Pervasive and All round Development.
• Gujarat has achieved global heights and set global benchmarks.
• Per capita income has almost quadrupled in last decade - from Rs.19,823 in 2001 to Rs. 75,115 in 2011.
• Gujarat’s first 42 years (from 1960 to 2002) saw planned expenditure of Rs.55,534. Against this, the
planned expenditure incurred in the last ten years for developing Gujarat has been 1.78 lakh crores.
• We have turned around Gujarat from a revenue deficit to a revenue surplus state without increasing
taxes. |
