select a.col1 from table_a a inner join table_b b on (a.col1=b.col1)

ani vundhi

table_a loo 500 million rows vunnayi
table_b loo 6 million rows vunnaayi

and b.col1 is primary key for table_b

the above query is taking very long long....

question eemiti ante if I re-write the query to something like this, would it help the performance

select a.col1 from table_b b inner join table_a a on (b.col1=a.col1)

?

result set eemanna effect avuthundhaa?
