Kodibochu:

More 'Brown' and less'Green' is the key for good compost.

Green: your kitchen waste, used coffee grounds, and grass clippings. But, I'd avoid grass clippings because I use lot of weed preventer and weed killers on them. So, I don't want them go into compost bin.

Brown; Dry leaves is the best one. collect the dry leaves during fall season and save them for future use.

caution: If you use too much of kitchen waste(Green) and no/less brown stuff, you will get bad smell and lot of pests in the bin.

Use google to know more varieties of brown stuff.

idi follow ayipona

Start your compost pile on bare earth. This allows worms and other beneficial organisms to aerate the compost and be transported to your garden beds.

Lay twigs or straw first, a few inches deep. This aids drainage and helps aerate the pile.

Add compost materials in layers, alternating moist and dry. Moist ingredients are food scraps, tea bags, seaweed, etc. Dry materials are straw, leaves, sawdust pellets and wood ashes. If you have wood ashes, sprinkle in thin layers, or they will clump together and be slow to break down.

Add manure, green manure (clover, buckwheat, wheatgrass, grass clippings) or any nitrogen source. This activates the compost pile and speeds the process along.

Keep compost moist. Water occasionally, or let rain do the job.

Cover with anything you have – wood, plastic sheeting, carpet scraps. Covering helps retain moisture and heat, two essentials for compost. Covering also prevents the compost from being over-watered by rain. The compost should be moist, but not soaked and sodden.

Turn. Every few weeks give the pile a quick turn with a pitchfork or shovel. This aerates the pile. Oxygen is required for the process to work, and turning “adds” oxygen. You can skip this step if you have a ready supply of coarse material like straw. Once you’ve established your compost pile, add new materials by mixing them in, rather than by adding them in layers. Mixing, or turning, the compost pile is key to aerating the composting materials and speeding the process to completion. If you want to buy a composter, rather than build your own compost pile, you may consider a buying a rotating compost tumbler which makes it easy to mix the compost regularly.

Nayak:

plant spinach or thotakura

Thotakura: Because of seeds spread out, you will get too many plants. But, if its too hot weather, they don't give good yield.Plants ,udaa sariggaa peragavu. pests vachi leaves anniki ki holes pettesthaayi. Early crop is the best crop.
Solution for not spreading the plants: Use weed preventer sheet in the area where you grow these type of plants. I'll post the picture by EOD today.

Mint: i'd suggest to grow in pots only. Its invasive in nature and difficult control it . aa area ground anthaa occupy chesthundi.

My suggestion 2 or 3 Tomato plants 2 gongura 3 pepper/Mirchi 3 eggplants/Brinjal 4 Thota kura 2 Bachali.. You can just spread coriander in between the plants.

You can always adjust them based on the availabily of the seeds/plants in your area with different squash, beans etc. I'd avoid the crawling varieties like Beera, sora etc..

Ademi kaadu.CLIPART--happy. Ivigo naa plants. Each nursery pot is 20 cents if you buy outside, but the ones I used are the reused/recycled pots. Tomato one is the one that bought from the garden store. They are growing fine. Herbs and green leaves ki assalu pots ye better aniipisthondi. Their root ball is very small, so we dont need to waste the space in the raised beds. We can use that space to grow bigger plants.
