Recently Google announced the end of support for XMPP based calling with Google Voice. This will happen on May 15, 2014 – that’s over 6 months from today.

Ooma is another option rao garu. I think its on sale in costco. You can port your vonage number to ooma.

I have been using Ooma as an alternative to Vonage. So far so good. Fed up with Vonage prices.

Google voice can only port mobile numbers, so you have to port from Vonage -> Pre-paid T-mobile or ATT and from that to Google voice.
Then use OBI100/200 to configure that google voice number  |
