adenti pressii panel life span more than 10 years kada.

Mass bedar .. most of the modern panels loose efficiency and end up to 80% ..over a period .

Cause for concern is the Battery bank which holds power , this needs re-hauling every 3-4 years based on the charge and discharge cycles .

2. about 8 battery panels will be there which are warranteed for 3 years and even if u use carefully to get it 4 years, you need to get them overhauled at the rate of 15k for each panel...resulting a total of 1,20 lakhs...

1. if electricity usage is heavy which comes into higher slab systems, then going for solar charging system will be useful.

2. about 8 battery panels will be there which are warranteed for 3 years and even if u use carefully to get it 4 years, you need to get them overhauled at the rate of 15k for each panel...resulting a total of 1,20 lakhs...

so if ur unit costs 10rs, you may save about 60k rs per month which mean 2.4 lakhs per 4 years...after deducting that 1.2 lakhs, you will end up saving of 1.2 lakhs considering no repairts etc...if u had that 4 lakhs invested on vaddi, the interests may even be more than these savings...if you look in other way...

3. regarding working wise, for last 1-2 years, only 3-4 times failure came and the agency guy came and replaced some ports at free of cost.

4. for 3 kwh rating to be fully charged, you need 6 hours solar radiation at deep summer with 30 units of radiation which is not possible practically and t may charge up to 1.5 to 2.2 kwh at max...remaining power is pulled through actual current supply due to automatic switching system...

5. for uninterrupted current supply and heavy usage, solar power is good enough...otherwise, it is not much fruitful.

6. no need to go for good brands, better to go for local brands who are accessible to your area frequently so that whenever issue arises, they can come quickly and address the issue.

7. still some points are there...i am not able to recollect...but i think for you, it will be useful as 4 lakhs as investment may not be much concern for u..only this is manual resource availability for any maintenance related things...

If you have extra cash .. and passion for going green .. then go for a full Solar solution ..

1KwH unit should be good enough to power 2 LED , 1 TV (LED or LCD) , 1 fan and refrigerator taking into account you use the appliances for 3-4 hours ..

I have installed 3kwh inverter as a back up power source . This is charged up using power . I am planning an additional 3kwh to be sourced from solar panel based solution.

Anyone experienced in this area or any advice is welcome ..
