In order to ensure smooth demarcation of boundaries of the residential and commercial areas in the 29 villages that were earmarked for the construction of the new capital city, the Andhra Pradesh government has decided to constitute ‘Village Level Consultation Committees’ and ‘Scheme Level Consultation Committees’ in each village for clarifying various issues and quick completion of the Land Pooling Scheme in the new capital region.

“The State government already notified Land Pooling Scheme for the Capital City. The scheme is being implemented with voluntary participation of land owners of 29 revenue villages in Guntur district. It is felt that the scheme needs active participation of the landowners and their representatives in all crucial phases of the scheme,” the State government said in a GO issued here on Friday. The State government on Friday decided to constitute Village Level and Scheme Level Consultative Committees. “The Collector, Guntur district, shall form such committees immediately with membership as decided by the district in-charge Minister,” Giridhar Aramane, Municipal Administration Principal Secretary, said in the GO.
