We don’t need to submit original passport, copies are enough...even now for my pio to oci they did not ask for original passport..but in your OCI, passport number is mentioned..if the current passport expires and u get a new passport, then there is a discrepancy between oci and ur new passport number...the understanding is if you carry both your old and new passports, they should allow us...but if you ask this questikn to Indian embassy, they will say you have to submit an update to OCI ani chepthaaru..then same story, update passport details in OCI anna option select cheskuni, proof(passport copy) submit chesi paatha oci card baadiki post chesthe meeku kottha card pampisthaadu with new passport number... |
