He screwed that himself by forcing Cavs to overpay players from his agency...now Cavs almost have no flexibility to improve the roster. Tristan and JR were not getting anything close to Cavs contracts with any other team and Tristan was a restricted free agent who would have to play for less than 10 million contract.
