Jagan Ignores Suggestions From Senior Journos

Last week, YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy had a series of interactions with media house owners, editors and other senior journalists to seek their cooperation for his forthcoming padayatra, starting November 6.

It was just a free-wheeling discussion with journalists and there was nothing for them to write as Jagan requested them not to write anything.

During the interaction, Jagan reportedly sought the views of senior journalists about the political scenario and also his proposed padayatra.

Since it was not a routine press briefing but a candid talk, some national journalists tried to give him their piece of mind on how he has failed to gauge the people’s pulse and how it was difficult for him to beat Naidu in general elections.

They also gave him a lot of suggestions as to what he should do and what he should not during the padayatra.

But, as is his wont, Jagan did not agree with their views and brushed aside all their suggestions. He firmly told them that he is going to come to power for sure and people, who are disgusted with Naidu's rule, will vote for him in a big way.

“He did not take even a single suggestion in positive spirit. He appears to be very over confident, if not adamant,” a journalist was heard commenting after the informal meet.
