Seems like you would need to automate the regular and recurrent monitoring tasks if it's not done already. You may need advanced concepts in shell scipting and also some extra concepts to process data and mail reception. The course that you were looking at below would only give minimal required knowledge to carry out the tasks manually on a daily basis and you may not like it. I dont wear spects, only wear contact lens(&goggles sometimes). Only code lang that i know are > c,c++,java,c# & scrpt lang.
