Ceded distributor demanding refund anta..mana arikatla esesaadu... If reports are to be believed, Mahesh Babu's "Spyder" distributors are asking for a refund of losses incurred. The film is yet to complete its first week run, but the distributors believe that it is highly unlikely for the film to rake in more revenues. “Spyder” was touted as one of the biggest hits of 2017 in south India. With the terrific combination of Mahesh Babu and top director A R Murugadoss, “Spyder” was expected to break a few records at the box office. But the film has already turned out to be a disaster in major areas. The losses are going to be huge in Ceded area, where the movie hasn't gained any momentum since day one. Spyder not only got a thumbs down from critics, but from general audiences too. Overseas distributor will be losing 50 per cent on investment, while the distributors in Andhra may recover about 60 per cent of their investment. Dil Raju, who distributed the film in Nizam area, will not be losing much. However, the Ceded distributors are estimating 70 per cent losses. Hence, they are asking for a refund from the producer NV Prasad for all the losses incurred by them. They will soon be approaching the Film Chamber of Commerce in Hyderabad. http://www.greatandhra.com/movies/movie-news/spyder-ceded-distributors-demand-re fund-84687.html |
