Assume the stock goes to $50 by expiry, your put is worth at least $5; if it stays at $53 the put is worth $2 and so on..

My mind is not taking this put clearly..Need some time and trying to analyze.

So, lets say SBUX goes to $40, is my put worth $15?

If it never fall below 55 from now and keep on going up, I lost all my money ?
