As vjawarrior says.. profit at the end of day, is still profit. There is nothing lost, need to reinvest somewhere else...
I am frm IITM too.. albeit came here very late, lets c whr i go. RE kante REIT better emo anipistundi. I happened to come across STAG .. will check this sector as well..seems STAG is predominantly NY based so ee lekkana manam we can research and opick areawise REIT and invest in RE indirectly and have liquidity as well..
Loss ledhule edho jila anthe sold for profits only...did well with properties held for long term...konni flops lo could have lost money but market appreciation bailed me out.
Have to re-think REITs vs direct investments in real estate...direct investment lo we have more control over things. |
