anni same in my opinion. Naaku insurance risk chaalane experience undhi...only 2 situations lo it makes sense for me

1) You somehow know something is going to fail soon
2) The cost of accident/event is so high...that you want to avoid it....for example liability insurance from killing someone in a road accident, life insurance etc.

Appliance fail ayithe emi avutundhi...bad luck ani inkoti konukuntaavu or repair chepistaavu...its not a castrophe.

Many companies earn much more profits from extended warranties than actual products.
