RO is for units only without any water refiner... they both are separate, people who cannot afford any water refiner like ECR3702R30 will only go with a RO unit which is only for drinking water n not the showers or appliances like dishwasher, washer..etc if u have a water refiner, u don't need a RO unit at all...
