ground zero - 3 hours minimum in museum paduthundi. Statue of liberty and 9/11 museum ki one day ketayinchandi. Times square, empire state bldg, central park ki allocate one day. I don't think renting a car is a good idea. you can take cabs and also try subway. Memu couple of weeks ago vellam, HD managed on her own for couple of days with cabs and walk. we stayed in mid town (grand Hyatt), I only went to 9/11 museum.
