Tingari_xx:

recent ga randstad odu h1 chesta annadu. salary antha matladaka, immigration odu already job aipoyindi ante, reckless ga handling

ante ippudu grace period lo unnaava tingu baa...why I am asking is, recently I spoke to attorney(RS Khanna,immigration.com) on this and he explained that, post Jan 17th,2017, we are eligible to get a grace period of 60 days once we get laid off from our current job and this excuse of grace period is again upto USCIS to adjudicate and approve...so next step would be, within this 60 days we need to find another job and that company need to apply for H1 transfer in premium processing...reason being, we better know the decision of whether this grace period has been excused by USCIS or not asap....by chance if they reject, atleast we can leave the country...if we put H1 transfer in regular processing and it gets rejected after a few months, then all this stay after layoff will be counted as illegal stay..and once we stay illegally for more than 180 days, then its a big offense and we may not be granted entry again into US..
