1977 is a dream year for annagAru and his fans... not just because of the magnitude of aDavirAmuDu's success... in all he acted in 6 movies that year.. out of which 2 were directed by him, one was by veteran v.madhusUdhana rao and 3 by the upcoming directors rAgavEndra rAo, tAtinEni rama rao and nandamUri ramEsh... one mythological, one socio fantasy, one historical and 3 social movies... upcoming heroine jayaprada acted as a heroine in 4 of these movies (2 movies lO out and out mass heroine, in one movie it is pathos role where as int he other a role with -ve shades) where as manjula acted in 2.. jayasudha was in 2 movies. veterans vANiSri, b.sarOja, prabha etc. were also paired... this is the transition period for annagAru and his pairs.. in one movie he appeared in 3 roles, in one movie 2 roles and in one movie he had the company of 2 more legends from south indian film industry mAma, chakravarthi, satyam, penDyAla composed the music.. again a transition period and the journey of ntr-chakravarthi started from here and lasted till chanDaSAsanuDu... 2 movies were produced by him, one was produced by k. ranjith kumAr (who earlier made cheekaTi velugulu with SSK), one by SakhamUri rAmachandra rao (who later made the movie pOrATam with SSK which also was a debut for mahEsh as child artiste (lenghty role hence debut)), one by s. venkaTa ratnam (who earlier made ee taram manishi with SObhanbAbu), satya nArAyaNa and sUryanArAyaNa (who earlier made tasildAru gAri ammAyi and prEmabandham with SObhan bAbu)... for satyanArAyaNa and sUrya nArAyaNa, ranjith kumAr and rAma chandra rao, those are the only movies produced by them with annagAru. where as s. venkaTa ratnam who produced yamagOla made nAdESam partenring with k.d.v. prasAd.. dialogues of DVSK and yamagOla became so popular that they were released on LP records and later on cassettes... chitram bhaLArE vichitram, jayIbhava vijayIbhava, telisenulE priya rasika from DVSK, all songs from aDavirAmuDu and yamagOla, chirnavvula tolakarilO, yevarO aa chandruDevarO, sirisiri chinnODa, okaTA renDA tommidI from chANakya chandragupta, edurItaku antam lEdA, tolisAri muddivvamandi, bAlarAju bangAru samee from edurIta, chilaka pachcha cheerakaTTi, chali chaligA undirA from mA iddari katha were hit/popular songs and some of these ended up as collector's choice... rAmu(Du) manci bAluDu  cinnappaTinuncI intE
