Cayanne is ruled out because of cost, its more than 100k for a decent configuration, top end ayithe more than 150k. Macan too small for the family, second row is so tight and not practical for my giant kids. Q7 - scored 94 based on Consumer Reports comprehensive road test and reliability. It's 10 points higher than Lexus. HIghlander - scored 85 and fits the need. Surprisingly insurance is cheaper for Q7 than highlander, difference is only $200 per year but still lower. Will test drive both today and decide. Ignorance is bliss
