The newly appointed President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Anurag Thakur formally inaugurated the cricket centre on the premises of Mulapadu Cricket Stadium in Vijaywada . The Centre which is spread over 13-acres of land has been developed at a cost of Rs 7 crore. It will have eight suites, twenty rooms, a gymnasium, a swimming pool and a conference hall. The Krishna District Cricket Association (KDCA) owns the Mulapadu Cricket Stadium and it’s two play-fields were inaugurated earlier by BCCI vice-president and Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) secretary Gokaraju Gangaraju.
