Author Message   Esscuseme Kurra Bewarse Username: Esscuseme Post Number: 1237 Registered: 03-2005 Posted From: 50.156.3.157 Rating: N/A Votes: 0 Posted on Saturday, May 28, 2016 - 12:45 pm:    cost of living - everything will be expensive. basically, if you are coming for the first time, you will have sticker shock and pretty much everything - rent, insurance, schools, gas etc - 2 bedroom apartment - $2800 to $3500 - private schools k-8 - $15k to $18k per kid per year - private high school - competition is high, almost a joke like applying for college and fee is around 20k per year - traffic notorious unless you live close to work, no subway - real estate decent townhome $800k - 1.2mil upside is - there are more jobs than candidates available. - apple spaceship campus - google massive real estate acquisitions - automotive IT is setting up shops here - Good finance presence - retail IT - lot of startups - weather is awesome - Indian community
