I agree about closing businesses by famous publishers, but that depends up on many factors like cost of printing are skyrocketing etc. Even Vavilla press,Chennai(first publisher to bring many religious translations into Telugu) was closed after independence because of losses. But, the only point that I am trying to highlight is that it is not that hopeless about the sales for this category.

BTW:Malladi did not do this allegation to target GITA press.When some asked a question about authenticity of the translations, he mentioned about Gita press's philosophy and he told they always stick to 'Ahimsa sidhantham" and make changes to the meaning of slokas.
