early in my investment career, bought calpine and mirant both in the range of $20+ and watched them going 50% higher; finally sold around $2 each. Took almost $4k loss in 2001 on these two stocks which I could never forget. I lost much more in many trades afterwards but somehow feel silly about those two losses. Ignorance is bliss |
