Nannaku Prematho Makes It To The $1 Million Milestone At US Box Office

Nannaku Prematho crossed the 1 million dollar collection milestone at the USA box office on Friday - Rentrak $985,263; with two non reported locations the film entered 1the prestigious million dollar club.

This is the first film of the year to reach there in such a short time!

Nannaku Prematho isn't a film you'll come across every other day. It's a film which is novel in thought and engaging in its execution.

Be it the unconventional story telling of a simple revenge drama or the interesting construction of some amazing sequences, director Sukumar gives us a film which isn't regular even a bit.

It's worth appreciating how the film maintains a balance between the experimental zone and commercial sensibilities blending them in proper proportions.

Even though the film has a run time of 168 minutes, it is so racy that there's never a dull moment and it doesn't seem like you have been watching the film for so long.

The highlights of the film would be the commendable writing by Sukumar who conceives some never-seen-before scenes for the Telugu cinema audience. And then, if NTR's style was the talking point till the film released, post release, his performance has become worth discussion.

He is aided by an extremely memorable performance by Jagapathi Babu who oozes evil like he was born with it! Rakul Preet's dubbing has proved an asset for the film too.

Interestingly, this is NTR's third film that hit he million dollar mark! Also, for CineGalaxy Inc., this is the third film after Manam and Bhale Bhale Magadivoi to make it to that milestone.
