Sekhar Kammula to direct Mahesh Babu October 16,2015, 04.51 AM IST | | THE HANS INDIA -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Looks like Sekhar Kammula’s wish of directing Mahesh Babu will be a reality soon. Known for collaborating with relatively small names, Kammula would join forces with the superstar for a romantic drama. Mahesh Babu Though whispers regarding their collaboration have been doing the rounds for a while, Hans Talkies has exclusively learnt that Mahesh’s next—after he wraps up ‘Brahmotsavam’—will be with the critically acclaimed director. Sekhar Kammula “Impressed with Kammula’s plot line, Mahesh gave his verbal consent to the filmmaker. He asked the latter to come up with a bound script. Kammula took time and when he finally met the actor with the complete draft, Mahesh was pleased. The film will show the actor in a complete new light,” a source said, and added that Kammula is currently fine tuning the script. “Vikram Kumar’s film with Mahesh too will happen, the call of which the actor will take at an appropriate time early next year.” Jayanth C Paranji, who earlier directed Mahesh in ‘Takkaridonga’, will shepherd the film, which is expected to roll out in summer next year.
