go for Trek or Diamond Back.

Main suggestion is donot buy in big Stores like Sports Authority or Dicks , go for your local store, those people have much better knowledge and can suggest you good ones.

I own a Diamond Back 29er and I mainly take it to the parks and treks. its not a road bike
