Even though you take out a layer what you eat is called onion. You don't differentiate the piece from saying piece is not onion, only the whole is onion. However we have the body, which is not us because it's not the same every moment. Even as a baby its you grown up its you, elder it you. However it's you as long there is you, one you are out, it's a body it's not you. So that some thing which recognized as you due to which your existence come s to picture is you..
