We cant compare any other religions with Hinduism to prove something, its like comparing apples to oranges. Hinduism is by far the most conservatively defined religion with all the rituals, processes and traditions that need to be followed by man kind to lead a happy , successful and pious life. other religions do not have so many traditions defined. US is a democratic country but not a christian secular country, moreover Christianity has a different rules. To them Ring is equivalent to Thali in our religion. They respect that. There are two things to be considered for such instances, 1. Choice 2. Tradition. A lot of what we do is defined by these two factors....Regardless of the religion.... |
