The company itself. Some companies are aggressive where as some are conservative. 2. Promotions/Growth - how aggressively you climbed the ladder. 3. Your abilities 4. Your manager/hr 5. Other compensations like bonuses On an average I think 20% in 5 yrs is a bit on the avg side. Be Positive!
