Gaali mama this is not correct...People sometimes in their zeal to prove scientific basis exists go to great lengths. Chidambara rahasyam vundi...The temple is very powerful because it is a space temple... Chid= in sanskrit means consciousness Ambara=Sky , can also mean clothes... Chidambareswara is one who is clothed with the sky itself as his garment or consciousness itself... It is one of the Pancha bhoota sthalas.... Ujjain Mahakaleshwar temple has the equatorial line passing through it...adi well known fact but not for Chidambaram |
