what is the status of stamping on the passport? If you comeback, the I-94 will be until the validity of Passport and there is a rule that passport must be valid be more than 6 months. When I entered in January, at port of entry, my passport was expiring in November, so he went and checked for the passport validity rule for India was 3 months or 6 months. Also whether my passport was beyond 6 months and verified the rule with co-worker(next counter) and then wrote the valid until date till November.
