KB annai, ivvala evening update vacchindi....

I want to start today’s update with cannabis powerhouse Trulieve Cannabis (OTCMKTS: TCNNF).

Shares are up slightly after reporting strong second-quarter performance.

The company reported $215 million in revenue, beating estimates by $5 million, which is 78% higher from last year. The beat comes as no surprise. Trulieve has surpassed estimates every quarter since it became publicly traded in 2018.

Trulieve has proven it can grow without sacrificing profitability, which is one of the reasons why it’s our top pick in the cannabis sector.

Earnings were $0.33 per share, up 450% from last year. The company has been profitable for 14 consecutive quarters, a rare accomplishment in the cannabis industry.

On top of that, Trulieve is expanding to Georgia in the near future. It’s one of only two companies with a production license to operate in the state. This will be Trulieve’s seventh state.

Trulieve’s expansion is one of the reasons I’m still bullish on the stock even after the recent sell-off. It’s a competent operator with immense scaling potential.
