Cut Losses Do not place more than 1% to 5% of your portfolio in one trade If you are losing get out Don't stick your head in the sand if you are losing Don't overtrade Use stop losses Don't focus mainly on making money - focus on protecting your money Have patience and hold on to your winners Manage risk Never trade counter to the market Recognize when you have made a mistake - mistakes help you grow!!
