I never sell stocks like AAPL, MSFT, COST etc. Others I will take 25%, 50%, double where possible. otherwise I can't play the service picks, new IPOs etc. not enough capital to play all of them. so you have to pick which ones you are keeping for really long time and which ones you are willing to part.
