I returned back to US yesterday evening. I posted this in other DB and want to let you know the people who helped me. Though everyone has to leave this world one day, losing a parent is an extremely tough situation to handle. My mother was battling with illness for the past two years caused due to a sudden event. It took good one to one and half year for me to accept that reality as she was an extremely healthy person with 0 health issues. My mother's condition further deteriorated last month and I opened a thread about emergency travel to India and Ramji annai mentioned that his friend was in a similar situation and went to India. I called him that night and he was so generous to talk to his friend and provide me with his contact. I was able to get some valuable information, as I am an US citizen with only visitor visa and not an OCI card. I sent a text to Venu annai (Politrics) the next day around 6 AM and he called Rising Star annai regarding my situation. Rising annai helped me to get an emergency visa and an air ticket through his contacts. His contacts were so kind that they helped me as if I am their family member with constant follow ups and important tips. They even talked to an urgent care to get my COVID test (not Rapid) done and ensured that the results were sent to my email before I stepped foot in India. That helped to travel to my home and not quarantined at a govt. facility. I was able to complete all the religious rituals including the first month ritual and spent time with my father and other immediate family members. People like Venu (Politrics) and Risingstar annais are god sent to help people who are in similar or worse situations like mine. They sent me constant text messages to ensure that if I was able to take care of all my travel arrangements. I am indebted to both of them. I pray to God to give them the power to help others and shower blessings on their families to lead lives with health and happiness.
