Speaker:

i have four such barrels to collect rain water seeping from gutters for use during spring n summer.. actually could double them...as they r always over-flowinggg... i got those barrels freeeee from a construction site...

Store bought barrels, normally, have the capacity of 50 to 70 gallons range. I got the similar ones too. My township sold them for $50/- each (with 64 gallon capacity). But, buying food grade plastic barrels is a trend now. They cost $100/- each including shipping and the guy will come and install it for you(includes shipping and isntalltion.)Each barrel has the capacity of 128 gallons and you can connect them togher .So, if you have 4 of them (connecting to two gutter collection points), you will have plenty of rain water to use for garden.
