I was in BLR during 2011-mid 12 and saw the poor design of ORR and flyovers...too cheap and narrow. There is sth called angle of banking in physics we all learn, that explains why we should have the outer edge of the road should be higher than the inner side of the road when the road curves...the basic principle of physics...no one gives a shi** about that in India...all the roads are flat and there is no extra space as well...I saw first hand the impact of the poor design in BLR..man too many accidents and they put many speed breakers to avoid them....which is a sick idea... I am not a big fan of speed breakers...they cause wear and tear, increase pollution and damage the vehicles...
