I think they will take a look and he is really good but his game can decline in an year or two as he is 33. The problem for Lakers is: Lebron's best position is 4 and he can play some 3 or 5. AD's best postiion is 5 and he likes to play 4 Horford can only play 4 or 5. Both AD and Al are versatile and can pass, shoot and defend very well...so Lebron, AD and AL will work. Kuzma is also a 4 (who is average but he plays well relative to this pay and experience) If they use up the cap with Al, they will have to fill the guard rotation and perimeter defense with veteran minimum guys...I don't expect the crap management to figure this out and build a contender. Kemba does not defend, very short guard that can decline any time and needs the ball in has hands to be effective...he is an ok shooter. With Lebron, he will become an over paid spot shooter than does not do anything else...but looks like that is is their plan |
