yes, you need to prune them when the season ends, thats how you get very good flowers blossom




Pruning at the end of the season is Okay. I always do that. But my neighbor's suggestion is that we need to prune after each blooming cycle is completed. For example: Knockout roses got about 5 cycles before the frost hits(depends up on the zone).So, we need to prune 5 times a season. But in-between pruning should be done lightly(about 6 inches on top).
