FLY from HYD to Shirdi. You can visit Shirdi baba temple and other small temples in the vicinity. From there you can go to Nasik, Trayambakam etc. My wife, in-laws and my wife's maternal aunts' families went on a 7-10 days South India trip (in 2 innovas). They visited several temples. Her cousin's husband planned it well such that they would reach a major town/city where there are nice hotels by 8:00 or 9:00 PM. they told me the list but I remember only a few. Guruvayur in Kerala, and some other temples around that area, Rameswaram, Palani, Tanjaur, madhurai, kanchi etc. etc. This was 3 years back. They visited 5 out of the 6 famous subrahmaNya swamy temples. The 6th one which is close to Puttur was visited several times earlier (Thiruththani.. Don't try to visit Thiruththani in second week of AUgust as there will be a festival (adhi kriththikal) and the roads will be blocked and vehicles had to be stopped 5-6 kilometeres away which otherwise would be allowed upto the temple entrance). rAmu(Du) manci bAluDu  cinnappaTinuncI intE
