2007 lO veLLA.. flew from HYD to Kochi (wife's cousin's husband was Divisional Manager in Hyderabad and his close buddy was DIG in Kerala and he got our trip taken care by a couple of constables), stayed in Kochi for a day and from there went to Guruvayur temple and a few other temples on the way. the following day left from Guruvayur and one of the constables was raving about these waterfalls and said on the way to the Kochi Airport we will stop by at the falls. It is off the way by an 45 minutes and I wasn't interested as we may be cutting too close to the flight departure time. I told him that I have already seen Niagara falls and this may not excite me and on top of that I don't want to miss the flight. He assured that he can take us to the Airport in time and finally I agreed. On the way he told several tamil, telugu movies were picturized there. When I looked at the falls, they looked familiar (punnagai mannan, raktabhishekam and a few other movies came to mind). they were tiny falls when compared ot Niagara but with thick habitat around made it look lively and beautiful... We spent about 10 minutes and then I forced him to start as we have only one hour and 15 minutes to the flight and it takes 45 minutes to reach the Airport from there. He simbly smiled and said don't worry and had the driver star the car and put the police light and siren on and took us to the airport in 30 minutes  ... after 2.5 years went there again (this time with my 1 year old son to fulfill my wife's wish to return with the kid to the temple) but in that trip I told that guy upfront no waterfalls trip so wife utilized that time for shopping in Kochi rAmu(Du) manci bAluDu  cinnappaTinuncI intE
